Grilled Kofta Kebabs Recipe

If you’re looking for a delicious and healthy recipe to add to your grill repertoire, try these Grilled Kofta Kebabs. Kofta is a Middle Eastern dish made from ground meat, spices, and herbs, and formed into a sausage-like shape on a skewer. These kebabs are perfect for summer grilling and are packed with flavor and protein.

Ingredients:

– 1 pound ground beef or lamb
– 1 small onion, finely chopped
– 2 cloves garlic, minced
– 2 tablespoons chopped fresh parsley
– 2 tablespoons chopped fresh mint
– 1 teaspoon ground cumin
– 1 teaspoon ground coriander
– 1 teaspoon paprika
– 1 teaspoon salt
– 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
– Wooden or metal skewers
– Olive oil, for brushing

Instructions:

1. If using wooden skewers, soak them in water for at least 30 minutes before grilling.

2. In a large mixing bowl, combine the ground meat, onion, garlic, parsley, mint, cumin, coriander, paprika, salt, and black pepper. Mix well with your hands until all the ingredients are evenly distributed.

3. Divide the meat mixture into 8-10 portions and form each portion into a sausage-like shape around a skewer.

4. Preheat your grill to medium-high heat. Brush the kebabs with olive oil on all sides.

5. Grill the kebabs for about 4-5 minutes on each side, or until they are cooked through and slightly charred on the outside.

6. Serve hot with your favorite dipping sauce or over a bed of rice or salad.
